Buggy

Henry is not feeling very well today. When I came home for lunch he was glassy-eyed and lethargic. He had a fever of 101.6. He took a long nap and woke up feeling better but still not 100 percent. During his nap Wade was working on organizing the study and he had the attic open and the ladder down. Henry woke up and ran in to see Papa. He stopped in his tracks when he saw the ladder. "Hole" he said. "Yeah Henry that is the upstairs, wanna see?" Wade asked. "Uh-huh" Henry said. So the two of them climbed up and down the ladder and peaked in the attic several times.
At dinner Henry mentioned the hole and the ladder at least a dozen times. He said "Hole? Henry climb up ladder." "Dirt (insulation) and wood up there." "Henry climb up all himtelf."We asked him questions about it and talked about it throughout the dinner. At the end he said "Oh ladder. Henry miss it." We cracked up....and then took him in the room to climb up the ladder again.
His fever came back this evening, the Tylenol wore off and he was really not feeling well. So we gave him some Motrin, took a bath and did some quiet activities. One of his favorite things to do is color. He can find yellow and pink crayons, everything else he calls green. He loves to have his hands and feet traced and to try to trace our hands and feet. After a while he seemed to be feeling much better and it was off to bed. He isn't acting like he caught a bug, but I am not sure why he would have a fever without catching something....we'll see. I will keep you posted.

{I love how he curls his toes in this last one}
