With the help of our amazing friends and family we are officially moved into our new house. The phrase "It takes a village" is no exaggeration when it comes to moving with an 18 month old and we still have the adventure of unpacking everything we own while managing a toddler which has already proven to be quite a challenge-- "Thank you Henry for picking up that knife set I left in the living room. Please stop rubbing the deodorant into the carpet..."--- but I keep telling Wade (and myself) that there are a lot of people out there that would take the stresses we have been dealing with if it meant owning their own home so we should be grateful that we are even able to do this. As for the Bean, well, he loves his new house. He hasn't really had any trouble adjusting. He has slept fine, eaten well and seems relatively unfazed by the change of venue. I asked him yesterday if he missed our old apartment but he was too busying running through Papa's office, into the garage, onto the driveway, around the Vroom Vroom, through the yard, into the side door and back into Papa's office....over and over again. If it would stop raining he would get a taste of the real deal back yard that sold us on the house. Cheers to grass and no more huge forehead bonks on the cement parking lot!
We will post some pictures as soon as we find our cameras, computers and desks..... -L
