We have had weeks of sickness followed by weeks of snow but today we were all healthy and the temperature was almost 60 degrees. Unfortunately, there is still a lot of snow on the ground and lots of mud, but we still got to open the windows today and lay in the sunshine.
The week in review:
Papa: After months of hard work, Wade did something he has always wanted to do, he made a cd. The Tangent Arc cd arrived at our house on Tuesday. He has several shows this month to promote the cd and is getting a really nice response. We are so proud of him.
Mama:Long story short: we have pulled Henry out of preschool and decided that he could just spend the afternoons with Mama. This means that Mama is up at 4 am and at work by 5 so she can be home by 1. This also means that right now as I type this (8:30 pm) it feels like midnight. But I can't complain, spending the afternoons with my guy is pretty fun, even when I am sleep deprived.
Henry:
Has 4 new freckles on his nose, including one that is in the exact same spot as the only freckle on Papa's nose.
Has been spending a lot of time with his friend, Estrella. Bowling, sledding and drawing are some of their favorite activities. He told her last week that he might be falling in love with her. But it turns out that Mama is still his first choice for a Valentine (yes!). He here is drinking a post-sledding hot cocoa.
We enrolled Henry in kindergarten last week at St. John School. It is the same school that I went to and it is a REALLY great school. It's going to take a little extra work for us to afford it, but it is totally worth it.Have a great week friends.
