We did the Douglas County AIDS walk this morning. It was cold and by the end of the walk it was snowing. Henry did really well. He said "We are walking for people that don't feel good. This help them feel better Mama."
At the breakfast/awards ceremony afterwords Henry's name was announced for being the youngest walker. He loved the clapping and continued to clap long after everyone else was finished.
Thank you to Gigi, Grandpa and Aunt Kelly for doing the AIDS walk with us. And thank you to Aunt Annie and Uncle Sergio for donating to our team. The Douglas County AIDS walk raised over $16,000.

This is one of those moments when I remember how happy I am that we bought this house. Henry loves to watch the trains and even though we are several blocks from the track even just a glimpse of one is enough to keep him up on our fence on his tip toes the whole time it passes. It is also a moment that reminds me that my little baby isn't really a baby anymore.
Yesterday we were outside and Henry said "Yook Mama, I make Henme's H and O for Olive (his friend)." And sure enough, he did...

{This photo cracks me up because it is photographic evidence that Henry smells everything. And you can tell by this picture that it isn't just a little sniff, it is the real deal.}
{This photo cracks me up because it is photographic evidence that Henry is a ham. I made such a big deal about him not shoving the candy up his nose that he decided to have me take a photo of him putting it in his eye. "Yook Mama Yook. It's in Henmy's eye. Take a pitcure now Mama."}
I must have made a big deal about it because Henry suggested that we take a picture of it.
Before bed he gathered his favorite toys together. He said "Mama. Let's take a picture of Henry and his friends." He is really getting the "Cheese" part down.
